How fit do I have to be to travel on an air tour?
on mainly flat ground. You must be able to walk up to 1km unaided and will not need any foreseen assistance throughout the journey. There are 4 steps into the aircraft that cannot be avoided.
MODERATE – These tours/safaris are more challenging and designed for the more active traveller who is looking to venture off the beaten path. To fully participate in all activities, the traveller must be able to walk up to 2km on even or inclined surfaces unaided, travel by four-wheel-drive vehicles along ungraded roads and walk up steps unassisted.
ACTIVE – These tours/safaris are specifically for the active traveller. To fully appreciate the regions visited on these programmes, participants will be required to walk up to 4kms on uneven surfaces unaided, walk up steps and inclines, and travel unassisted.
What should I pack?
Although the accommodation is the very best available, formal attire is not necessary. There are laundry facilities throughout the journey. Smart casual attire is appropriate. We recommend you include the following when packing:
Easy care lightweight and comfortable clothes such as shorts, light slacks, skirts, cotton shorts/blouses and T-shirts
Comfortable closed in walking shoes (essential!)
Pants / trousers
Sun hat
Sweater / Jumper / Spray Jacket / Parka
Swimwear
Please note that temperatures can vary dramatically. It is advisable to bring items of clothing that you can layer when you need to.

What is included in my air safari/tour?
All travel by exclusive aircraft. All breakfasts, lunches, and dinners for the entire period of the tour. Water and snacks are provided when onboard your aircraft. All accommodation and sightseeing as specified. Entry fees and porterage (there is no baggage check-in at airports). Services of the professional crew together with the local hosts.

What is not included in my air safari/tour?
Alcoholic beverages are not included with dinners. Items of a personal nature such as telephone calls, drinks, travel insurance, excess baggage, laundry, personal accident and medical expenses, and all extra communication charges incurred on a client’s behalf.

I am travelling by myself - do you cater for solo travellers?
Yes, solo travellers are very welcome. You have the choice of a shared twin room or paying a single supplement for a single room.

Do I get tickets?
If you are giving a gift voucher then yes we will send you a “Ticket” you can pass on. For all other passengers, NO there is no ticket. A confirmation email will be sent. On the departure day, we have your name and a passenger manifest that we use to mark you off. One less thing to worry about.

How much luggage can I bring?
Luggage should be less than 7Kg in a soft-sided bag. A small day bag, purse or backpack can accompany you to your seat. The combined total should be less than 10Kg and note we do check this for the safety of the aircraft. Laundry facilities are available during the tour.

How many guests are on each tour?
Each tour is limited to a maximum of 9 passengers plus a pilot/tour director. On occasions we will run a separate tour director or if required a second pilot.

What if I have special dietary requirements?
Generally speaking, we are able to cater for most dietary requirements on our tours. e.g. diabetic, celiac, or vegetarian. We ask that you outline any dietary requests or restrictions when you fill out your booking form so our planners can better understand your needs.

How long is spent on the aircraft?
A flight will be no more than 2 hours. Flight time each day will vary depending on your location. The advantage of private aircraft is that you minimise the travelling time between each destination and maximise the time on the ground to see the highlights of each location.

How much do you see from the air?
All aircraft typically fly between 5,000 and 10,000 feet, depending on turbulence, which means you can always view the landscape below. Over areas of specific interest from the air, our experienced pilots will bring the aircraft down to between 500 and 1000 feet for spectacular birds-eye views of the area below.

What forms of payment do you accept?
Brisbane Flight Charter accepts all major credit cards including AMEX, Visa, and Mastercard with an additional fee. We prefer a direct bank deposit from our passengers as this incurs no extra cost to you or us. All prices listed are in AUD and all payments are processed in AUD and are GST inclusive.

What sort of accommodation do you use?
The accommodation has been chosen to ensure you receive the highest standard of service and comfort available at each destination. All rooms have ensuite facilities.
After I make a booking, what happens?
Seven to 10 days days prior to your tour departure you will receive all your travel instructions, including departure/arrival times and meeting locations and any need-to-know information specially tailored for you.
